When Google Maps lists is the better choice
- You're on Android or want to edit on desktop.
- You add places by searching for them anyway.
- You want zero new apps.
If you only save a few places and already know their names, use Google Maps lists. They're free, on every device, and built into the app you'll navigate with. Use someday if your places come from TikTok, Instagram, DMs and screenshots and you want the reason you saved each one kept with it, or want to turn saves into a trip plan.
